I wouldn't have minded Adelle to have some awesome up tempo songs, but they were still pretty awesome.
I thought Pleased to Jive You were pretty good?

Well i watched Astrochem but danny for some reason kept thinking their name was Astrocow, that was funny, i wasn't really into what they did tho. The crowd seemed to love it. I watched the start of Adelle but was put off by the amount of crap on the stage. I left halfway through Adelle but i did want to see PTJY, shame that Danny wanted to leave. But it's not like i haven't seen you guys.

Yeah, Adelle are tight and all that. But their songs seem almost generic. Not to anything else, but to each other. I often get confused as to how many songs they play consecutively... If that made sense.

If that made sense. Im like that with a lot of bands who I see live, but haven't recorded. I did a show with one band once who did play the same song twice though.. No names will be mentioned. When you listen to the cd you'll appreciate the songs more I gues.s

As part of that crowd, I definitely was getting that feeling too. I guess they weren't really a punk crowd, they lightened up as the night went on.

Hey Aaron I thought you didn't like playing Woden Youthie? I got the impression that you guys wouldn't even want to play there again. What happened did you guys have a change of heart or something?

You're right we don't like playing there but we got asked to play and we'll take any opportunity to play. The two reasons i don't really like it is 1. Breath Testing The reason being that i think there should be more trust with the musicians. I have never drunk or been drunk at a youth centre, playing or not.
2. Letting the regulars in for free Sure these people might need to come in for some reason but they should limit the people that come in for free, the last time i held a show there there was like 10 people that were regulars. If i go there every weekend to hang out can i start going to see bands there for free?
That being said the people there are always nice and help you make things run smoothly.

I've never had the problem with regulars. Theres only ever been 3 max. But I agree with the principle of not letting them in because they hang out there, if they need to be there then I can understand that.
